Cd. Victoria, 25 de noviembre 2025. – Con la presencia de la presidenta del Sistema DIF, Lucy de Gattás, el alcalde de Victoria Eduardo Gattás Báez firmó, junto a integrantes del Gabinete Municipal, el decálogo contra la violencia hacia la mujer para dar paso firme hacia un futuro libre de violencia de género.
En el marco del Día Internacional de la Eliminación de la Violencia contra las Mujeres, Gattás Báez reafirmó el compromiso de su gobierno de actuar con firmeza, sensibilidad y unidad para que ninguna mujer en Victoria se sienta sola y viva con miedo.
“Este decálogo que hoy suscribimos es una guía de trabajo, una ruta clara y una obligación moral, porque proteger a las mujeres es un deber de Estado y un valor fundamental de nuestra comunidad para garantizar que puedan vivir libres, seguras y plenas” subrayó.
En el acto solemne celebrado en sala de Cabildo, hizo un llamado a la sociedad para proteger a las niñas, jóvenes, madres, mujeres trabajadoras, empresarias, estudiantes y jefas de familia, al enfatizar que la violencia no tiene cabida en la Capital de Tamaulipas.
En el marco de la firma del decálogo, la Lic. María de Jesús Cisneros Ochoa, encargada del Departamento de Atención a la Mujer en el gobierno de Victoria, ofreció una plática de sensibilización para la prevención de la violencia en contra de las mujeres.
